Johnson Level's deck spacing tool is a handy little tool to use when building a deck or replacing a rotted or split deck board in the spring. The spacing can be set at either 1/8" or 3/16" to allow for deck boards to expand when wet. On the edges of the deck spacing tool are screw guides for marking holes or putting deck screws in directly so you're not too close to the edge.
